ISS Direct Care Staff will report to Service Coordinator with items of immediate importance concerning the health, safety, and welfare of MSI consumers. While always following MSI policy and procedure, ISS Direct Care Staff will complete the following duties:
•All jobs require lifting and dependable transportation
Assisting consumers as needed to complete their programs
Collect, review, and submit incident reports to operations manager within 24 hours
Act as a liaison between consumer and administration to provide suggestions and improving efficiency and quality of life for consumers
Complete weekly check of ISS for safety; including monthly fire drills
Provide protective over-sight as warranted by the consumer's needs and programs
Communicate to Therapeutic Consultant need for consumer specific retraining or behavioral concerns
Communicate to Nursing staff any medical concerns or needs
Requirements:
•Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
•The ability to communicate needs and concerns
•The ability to lift, assist in transfer for consumers
•The ability to transport consumers safely in staff vehicle
•Currently the vacancies we have in ISS DCS are for evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
