A Special Message From The Executive Director:
Dear Waiver Families, I realize that Service Coordinators and Therapeutic Consultants come into your home on a monthly basis. This allows the family to feel more at ease with the SCs and TCs. At times we have to share the not so pleasant details about our loved ones on Waiver. SCs and TCs are also there to celebrate the successes that our loved ones have achieved.
Please keep in mind that professional staff at Mainstream, as well as other Waiver providing agencies, have to meet timelines noted in the current manual. Failure to meet these timelines can result in a reduction of services to your loved one, or even the chance of Waiver services being terminated. I realize change is difficult but sometimes it is necessary. If you have concerns, questions, or comments about staffing or any other aspect of Waiver as it applies to your loved one please give me a call. Thanks, Deana

Background Checks
The WV State Police will only be accepting fingerprint cards through January 1, 2012. After that, all fingerprints will be done through L1 Identity Solutions. If you have been here for more than 1 year, you may submit prints prior to January 1 at no cost. After that date, if you require the background check, you must have prints recorded here, mail the cards at your expense ($18.85 for the check), and request the Federal check. The results will be mailed TO YOU and you will then have 3mos. to submit them to Mainstream.
Arrangements are pending with L1, but that is the current situation, so to save yourself some MONEY, submit before Jan. 1st if this applies to you.
October 2011 Waiver Changes
